WHAT WE BELIEVE

I. The Bible is the divinely inspired and revealed Word of God. It has God for its Author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.

II. God is the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

III. All men have sinned and are in need of salvation. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, and perfection was His in all ways. He died on a cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of God the Father and is now the Mediator for us in Glory. He is alive and is coming again. He is our personal Savior and is coming for all who know Him.

IV. Salvation in Christ is by grace and it is free to all who desire to be born again.

V. Salvation precedes scriptural baptism and church membership. We believe that salvation is first and after salvation, a believer should be scripturally baptized in a Bible believing church. Jesus instituted the church, and we hold fast to His commission in Matthew 28:19-20. We hold fast to the two ordinances of the local church, believing they are scriptural. Those ordinances are: Believer's Baptism and The Lord's Supper.

VI. The Holy Spirit was sent by God to us at the ascension of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates, enlightens, endues with power, comforts and guides believers.

VII. We hold these distinctive Baptist principals: "The Absolute Lordship of Christ;" "The Supreme Authority of the Holy Scriptures;" "The Doctrine of Eternal Security."
